Pavarotti died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. I am sure I speak for everyone when I say we lost a GREAT talent.

Oh wow, that's depressing...he's one of the 3 tenors right?
1Yes, that's right. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Tenors
2Yeah... it's a terrible loss to the operatic circuit and to the world in general, but at least now he's not in pain.
3I agree - what a loss! But I'm glad that he's out of pain. I think I'll go listen to a little Pavarotti now...
4He was a wonderful singer, but I know he's been suffering for a while. Cancer is a terrible thing.
5Very sad

I didn't even know he had cancer until I read an article yesterday saying his kidney had collapsed. The article sounded pretty grim, so I'm not surprised. It's a shame.
7Very sad! He was a great talent in our world today. But at least he is no longer suffering.
8It is a great loss.
9He was one of the greatest artist of our time!! As an artist I'll say good bye to him with an applause.
10its a great loss! its really sad
11It's so sad...
He battled with it for so long - it must have been exhausting.
I read in TMZ that he was positive to the end though - he'll always be such an inspiration to all artists!
12oh he has such a warming presence in him; lovely voice too. rest in peace.
13Man, this dude was talented. What a loss.
